Radio Sound Therapy – Portuguese Campaign to help hyperactive kids
Estimates suggest that at least 80,000 Portuguese children have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder). Rather than creating outdoor ads, flyers or TV ads, the Portuguese Association of the Hyperactive Child decided to raise awareness and help these children with sound therapy.
Working with Lisbon-based agency, Nylon, a number of radio spots were created. The spots consisted of fantasy stories narrated by well-known Portuguese personalities and were accompanied by sound frequencies from Tibetan singing bowls to help the children relax.
