Business cards are paper snapshots designed to give another person a quick idea of who you are and what you do. The problem is that once the moment of exchange has passed, they are often filed away or discarded - not very environmentally friendly.
With climate change an important topic to Greenpeace, the Russian branch of the organisation saw an opportunity to make business card storage more eco-friendly and used the existing public transport system for inspiration.
EcoCard is the first ever business card case that works with the Moscow metro system. Business card cases with different amounts double as metro passes and are handed to staff and representatives in a bid to encourage public transport patronage. The cards also inform the user of how much Co2 they avoided by taking the metro system rather than driving.
